About your Host
Brent (My Wife Plays Mahjong) is a leading voice in the American Mahjong community, with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 40,000 on Facebook. Known for his creative blend of instruction, parody, and comedy, Brent has made learning Mahjong approachable and entertaining for thousands of players across the country. For nearly two years, he has taught players of all skill levels through classes, events, online content, and live instruction, helping both beginners and experienced players build confidence and sharpen their strategy.
Outside of Mahjong, Brent has been passionate about pickleball for nearly 10 years. He has competed in tournaments across Texas and has spent years introducing new players to the game through beginner instructional classes. His teaching style emphasizes creating a fun, encouraging environment where players can quickly build skills while enjoying the experience.
With Pickle & Mahj, Brent brings together two of his greatest passions,Mahjong and pickleball, to create a welcoming, high-energy experience filled with learning, laughter, and connection.

Accommodations & Pricing
Shared Accommodations (Double Occupancy)
Double Beds or King | $2,800 per person
Perfect for couples or friends traveling together. Guests sharing a room must register together, though each guest may submit payment separately. King option available for couples.
Private Accommodation (Single Occupancy)
One king bed | $3,600 per person
To reserve your spot, please complete the registration form. Once submitted, you’ll receive a secure payment link for a 50% deposit, which must be completed within 24 hours to confirm your reservation. Please allow up to one business day to receive your payment link. The remaining balance is due August 26, 2026.
